Sara Latronica

Founder

Sara is the Founder and President of Noah's Legacy Foundation. Inspired by her son Noah, Sara’s mission is to end childhood cancer and improve the lives of young cancer warriors and their families. Her journey began when Noah, her firstborn, was just 6 months old and diagnosed with brain cancer. After 5.5 challenging years of treatment and ultimately losing Noah, Sara recognized the critical need for more research, funding, and treatment options for pediatric cancer. Through Noah's Legacy Foundation, she honors Noah’s memory by providing essential support and hope to families navigating this difficult journey. Sara is the proud mother of two more boys, Theo and Alex and has the joy of staying home with them full time while running the foundation.

Casey Masciantonio

Co- Founder

Casey Masciantonio is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Noah’s Legacy Foundation, an organization rooted in love, resilience, and the power of community. Casey’s connection to Noah and his family is deeply personal. When her own daughter, Emilia, was diagnosed with ATRT brain cancer, Noah’s mom, Sara, became an instant and close friend. Their bond formed immediately—two mothers navigating the unimaginable—and Noah’s courage and spirit became a source of inspiration during one of the most challenging seasons of Casey’s life.

Throughout Emilia’s treatment, Noah’s journey and strength served as a guiding light, reminding Casey and her family what bravery, hope, and unconditional love truly looks like. Today, Emilia is five years post-treatment, a milestone that fuels Casey’s unwavering commitment to giving back. Through Noah’s Legacy Foundation, she is dedicated to supporting families in Pittsburgh as they face childhood cancer, building community, and honoring Noah’s courageous battle and lasting impact.

Outside of her advocacy for childhood cancer, Casey is a proud mom to three children—Emilia, Jackson, and Dolores. She has been married to her husband, Phil, for 10 years and is also a Sales Executive at a software company, bringing the same passion, leadership, and heart to her professional life as she does to her mission-driven work.

Nick, father of Noah, has been a steadfast member of the Foundation’s board since its inception. A devoted father and provider, Nick serves on the Board of Directors and plays an active role on the planning committees for several annual fundraising events. His experience fuels his passion for creating meaningful change, and he remains a strong source of support for Sara and an unwavering advocate for children and families fighting cancer.

Elizabeth Wright

Secretary

Beth Wright is a trusted friend of Sara and Nick and a foundational force behind Noah's Legacy Foundation. With a strong background in business development, Beth brings strategic insight to building a successful nonprofit. While her role as secretary at NLF captures one facet of her work, she serves in multiple capacities, including chairing several event-planning committees. She is a dedicated mother of two and spends her spare time cheering on her son and daughter from the sidelines.

Scott & Kelly Albert

Treasurer | Board Member

Scott has been part of Noah’s Legacy foundation from the beginning and serves on its Board of Directors. Scott deals mostly with the financial aspects of the foundation as the treasurer. Scott and his wife Kelly have been close friends with Nick and Sara for years and their daughter Lindy was best friends with Noah since they were babies. Once Sara decided to start a foundation in Noah’s honor to raise awareness for pediatric cancer, Scott was honored to be part of the team. He is deeply committed to continue to raise awareness for pediatric cancer and continue to raise funds for further cancer research.

Kelly has served on the Board of Directors of Noah’s Legacy Foundation since its founding. Her husband, Scott, also serves on the Board of Directors. She is the mother of two daughters, Molly and Lindy. Lindy shared a lifelong bond with Noah as his best friend from birth. Kelly and Sara, Noah’s mother, have been close friends for many years, and sharing the journey of pregnancy and motherhood together created a deep and lasting bond between their families.

With over 20 years of experience as an elementary special education teacher, Kelly has dedicated her career to supporting children and families with compassion, patience, and advocacy. Her personal connection to Noah, combined with her professional commitment to serving children, inspires her work with the foundation. Kelly is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Noah’s Legacy Foundation and remains deeply committed to its mission of supporting families impacted by childhood cancer

Katie Mangieri

Board Member

"In 2017, our family was rocked to the core," says Katie Mangieri. As a veteran teacher of 22 years, Katie was used to guiding children, but nothing could prepare her for her youngest son Marco’s diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Amidst the chaos of treatment, Katie found a lifeline in Sara Latronica, who happened to live just a few miles away. Despite both families fighting the same war, Sara reached out to hold a fundraiser for Marco—an act of grace that Katie says "moved us to our very souls."

After several years of text messages, phone calls, and sharing the heavy burden of pediatric cancer, the Mangieris were heartbroken when Noah lost his battle. To Katie, serving on the Board of Directors is more than a title; it is a debt of gratitude and a promise to a friend. Alongside her husband and children, Katie is dedicated to honoring Noah’s legacy and working towards pediatric cancer awareness and advocacy.

Cristin Katich

Board Member

Cristin is Noah’s loving Auntie and a recent addition to the NLF board, though she helped shape the foundation long before its launch. She lives in Southern California with her family and works in real estate. A strategic thinker, Cristin has been Sara’s go-to advisor since day one, offering thoughtful perspectives and encouragement. Cristin’s heart for her nephew fuels her commitment to supporting the foundation from afar and helping drive its success.

Wesley and Megan Prichard

Board Members

Wesley and Megan Prichard have been involved with Noah’s Legacy Foundation since they attended the first Light Pittsburgh Gold event in 2022. Raising awareness for childhood cancer, raising funds for childhood cancer research, and providing a community for Pittsburgh-area families impacted by childhood cancer diagnoses are issues near and dear to Megan and Wesley’s hearts, as they are parents to a childhood cancer warrior, Rory, who was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2019 and is now a survivor.

While Wesley and Megan never had the privilege of meeting Noah, they are humbled to honor his legacy and the stories of other Pittsburgh-area families impacted by childhood cancer diagnoses through their service on the Board and support of the Foundation’s mission.

Megan stays at home with their daughters and Wesley is a Partner at the law firm K&L Gates LLP.

Paige Perkins

Board Member

Paige is a National Account Executive at The Pavement Group and has been connected to Noah’s Legacy Foundation since the early days of Noah’s journey. Watching a dear friend and her family navigate such an unfair battle deeply shaped Paige’s commitment to the foundation’s mission. She honored Noah by running the 2017 Pittsburgh Half Marathon to raise money for his fight and in 2021 ran 50 miles during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise funds through the American Cancer Society. In addition, Paige has dedicated her time to supporting the foundation’s events over the years. Though she only met Noah a few times, his strength, resilience, and courage continue to influence how she approaches life and serves others. She is honored to serve on the board and to continue to help raise awareness in Noah’s honor."

Melissa Eck

Board Member

Melissa has been a kindergarten teacher for 22 years, but her heart and life was profoundly changed when she had the honor of teaching Noah. Knowing him inspired in her a commitment to childhood cancer awareness and the pursuit of a cure through research.  Having Noah in her classroom was an immeasurable gift, and his impact on her life will be carried in her heart forever.

Melissa has been involved with the foundation since its very beginning and is deeply humbled to now serve on its Board of Directors. When she is not helping to plan the foundation’s next event, Melissa treasures time spent with her family and enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
